# Central bank decision alerts

An hour before every decision of the ten major central banks, and the result the moment it is out. In your Discord server, your Slack workspace or on Telegram. Free, with no account.

### Get a Discord webhook

1.  Open the channel's settings (the cog next to its name).
2.  **Integrations**, then **Webhooks**, then **New Webhook**.
3.  Name it if you like, then **Copy Webhook URL** and paste it here.

You need the Manage Webhooks permission on the server.

### Get a Slack webhook

1.  Go to [api.slack.com/apps](https://api.slack.com/apps) and create an app **from scratch** in your workspace.
2.  Turn on **Incoming Webhooks**, then **Add New Webhook to Workspace** and pick the channel.
3.  Copy the address that starts `https://hooks.slack.com/services/` and paste it here.

What do the alerts say?

One message about an hour before each decision, with its time and the rate as it stands, and one the moment the result is out: what the bank decided, with a link to the decision’s page.

Are they free?

Yes. No account and no sign-up: a Discord or Slack webhook address, or the Telegram channel.

How do I stop them?

In Discord or Slack, delete the webhook: the next alert finds it gone and the address is dropped. Or paste it in the form below and press Stop. In Telegram, leave the channel.

What do you keep?

The webhook address, which banks you chose and when you added it. Nothing about you. The address is used only to post the alerts.
